USA Water Polo has an Olympic Development Program. Once a year, in the fall/winter, USA Water Polo hosts clinics by age groups with locations all around the country. It's a great place to get six hours of training from coaches that know their stuff. Yes, it's pipeline camps for USA Water Polo to find the next athletes for their age group national teams. Don't let that scare you. Try one! Whether or not you make the next step in the process shouldn't be the main reason you go to one of these events. It's about being coached by different coaches, learning something new, and meeting other great water polo players your own age. You will get a ton of conditioning and you will be tired!! https://usawaterpolo.org/sports/2018/12/19/odp-pipeline-events
6-8 is a California based water polo training academy, founded by two incredible Olympians, Tony Azevedo and Maggie Steffens . The camps range from 2 hours in the middle of the week, to a few days to a week long winter or summer camp. Great coaches from all over the world! The best fundamental training for water polo! Thank you Coach Tony and Coach Rico! https://tonyazevedo.com/programs/
A lot of the club water polo programs like to take summer training trips to international locations. Here are a few that I've heard about from other players (I have not experienced them personally) but they really enjoyed traveling abroad, playing against athletes from other countries, trying some interesting and different local foods .
I've never done any of these camps so I can't give you my opinion but here is the information to look into them if they seem interesting to you.
Nike (US Sports Camps) hosts camps throughout the country during the summer months at different college campuses.
